To find a player's correct head size, measure the circumference of the head just above the ears and refer to the chart below for accurate sizing |

For catcher's gear The Batter's Box recommends you use the age chart below. It usually is more effecient than trying to measure your chest or shins. The description for all catcher's gear we list will have either T-Ball, Youth, Intermediate or Adult. Age recomendations for Catcher's Gear: T-Ball = ages 4 - 9 Youth = ages 9 - 12 Intermediate = 12 - 16 Adult = 15 and up |

Chest Protector Sizing
For chest size measure from top of breast plate or sternum (the bone under the chin)
to the waist or belt buckle area to give length required for proper fit
and match to size given in the description. |

Leg Guard (Shin Guard) Sizing*
For leg guard size, measure from center of the kneecap to bottom of shin
and match to size given in the description. |

General Rule of Thumb: Adult sizes are basically designed for catcher's 15 years old and up and 5' 7" and taller. And a note to youngsters and new catchers: Protective gear takes some getting used to. It needs to be broken in like a good glove before it feels comfortable.
