We only knew Paul for the last four-plus years, but what a great time we had. Paul was our shipping / receiving clerk / resident duffer, and he was like family from the start. He had the very best memory for jokes, and perfect timing to deliver them. That probably came from his drumming.

We at The Batter's Box only knew of a fragment of his life behind the drums, but we all are fortunate enough to have seen him play locally in Surfside Beach. Our own George Schiessl is more fortunate as he played in bands with Paul for many years around the Grand Strand. Paul not only played for years with Jerry Reed, but was Tanya Tucker's drummer as well.
